The
system used to demonstrate DataDrone2 is composed of two headless
mini-PC's running Linux UNIX as the operating system. Each
PC will run a different database engine and instances; one
employs Informix Dynamic Server versions 7.x through 9.x,
the other will run DB2 Universal Database Server version 8.2.
Both systems will have the DataDrone2 system installed on
them one operates as the primary and the other as the secondary
or target system. There will be a small 10/100 hub, network
cables, and a laptop with any web browser installed used for
controlling the DataDrone2 system. Additionally, the system
will be able to connect to the local site network to extract
schemas, code, and scripts for sample conversion or actual
conversion.
